AMAZON EXTREME PLAN
3 Nights / 4 Days

DAY 1 – Witoto Community and Cultural Night in the Maloca
Arrival in Leticia and transfer to Km 7.
Jungle hike through terra firme forest to observe fauna, flora, and traditional crops (coca, plantain, manioc).
Arrival at the maloca and introduction to culturally important plants such as yagé, coca, and tobacco.
Night walk in the jungle to observe nocturnal species and the natural luminescence on the forest floor.
Cultural talk about the Witoto people.
Dinner and overnight in hammocks with mosquito nets.
DAY 2 – Chagra Visit, Tacana River & Jungle Camping
Breakfast and visit to chagras to learn about fruit and medicinal species.
Departure to the Tacana River for artisanal fishing.
Return to the maloca and lunch.
Transfer to Km 14 to begin a deeper jungle trek.
Setting up a jungle camp (hammocks with mosquito nets).
Dinner, campfire, and night of Amazonian myths and stories.
DAY 3 – San Pedro Community, Yahuarcaca & Tekuna Lodge
Breakfast and dismantling of the camp.
Jungle hike to the Ticuna community of San Pedro with wildlife observation.
Cultural exchange and learning about daily activities and traditions.
Boat navigation through the Yahuarcaca creek to Tekuna Lodge (during high-water season only).
Swimming activity in the Yahuarcaca lakes.
Lunch at Tekuna Lodge, rest, fishing, and canoeing in traditional wooden canoes.
Night safari on a local boat for nocturnal wildlife observation.
Overnight in cabins with private bathroom.
DAY 4 – Amazon River & City Tour
Breakfast and boat departure along the Amazon River to Leticia.
Visit to the imaginary point of the three borders (Brazil, Peru, Colombia) and the Peruvian town of Santa Rosa (Activity only applies to high water; optional: low water, one-hour hike to the Amazon River).
City tour in Leticia and Tabatinga (market, craft shops, border area, commercial zone, Comara viewpoint).
Transfer to the airport.
